$249 total for one car in SLO city. Dealership pickup, a test drive, transport to Certified Auto Repair, a full used-car inspection and written deal analysis—all included.
I’m Isaac Feldman. I’ve been in the car business since 2000, with experience in sales and service, and I co-own Certified Auto Repair in San Luis Obispo. I bring those two perspectives together: what the car needs, and what that means for your purchase.
Payment is due when booking. Ordinary SLO-city pickup and transport are included, with no extra travel charge. You can live elsewhere; the car must be in the city of San Luis Obispo for this price. Elsewhere in SLO County or beyond requires a separate quote.
I pick up the car from the dealership, test-drive it and take it to Certified Auto Repair for the full inspection. Then I explain the findings and the deal in writing.
We confirm the car’s location, seller permission, access and scheduling before booking. If you’re buying from out of town, send the location before planning your trip.
Certified Auto Repair’s standalone full inspection costs $199. That is the shop’s standalone price, not an added charge: your full inspection is already included in the $249 assessment.
This covers one car and its deal. Finding other cars, negotiating for you and completing the purchase are separate unless expressly agreed; see complete purchase help.
Report outline
What your report covers.
Your report connects the evidence about this car to the decision in front of you. These are the report’s sections; completed findings depend on the agreed checks and the information available.
The car and the evidence
The vehicle and VIN, the listing and records reviewed, and the date and scope of the assessment. Seller statements, supplied documents and my observations are identified separately. Missing records or conflicting details are called out.
Condition and driving findings
Findings from the agreed visit, road test and shop inspection, with supporting photos where available. Needed work, available repair estimates and items requiring further diagnosis are distinguished. The report states what could not be checked.
The price and the written deal
How the asking price compares with relevant available listings, accounting for condition, mileage and needed work. I review the supplied written offer for its vehicle price, fees, add-ons and conditions. Asking prices and repair estimates are labeled as estimates or advertised amounts.
A buying recommendation
A clear explanation of whether I would pursue the car, seek answers or a revised deal, or move on—and why. You’ll see the material concerns, the remaining unknowns and what I would want resolved before proceeding. We go through the assessment together.
An assessment reflects the evidence available at the time. Some faults may not appear during a visit or road test, and a seller may not provide every record or a complete written offer. Those limits stay visible in the report; I won’t fill them in with assumptions.
Send the car and the question you need answered.
Send the listing link, dealership and vehicle location, your timing and main concerns. If you have the VIN, a written offer, maintenance records or a history report, mention what’s available.
I’ll confirm access and scheduling, or a separate quote if the car is outside SLO city. Sending an inquiry does not book the service or authorize contact with the seller. Payment is due when booking, after we confirm the arrangements.
