One car in the city of San Luis Obispo. Payment due when booking.

Includes dealership pickup, a test drive, transport to Certified Auto Repair, a full used-car inspection and written deal analysis. Ordinary SLO-city pickup and transport are included, with no extra travel charge.

Elsewhere in SLO County or beyond requires a separate quote. We confirm the car’s location, seller permission, access and scheduling before booking. The shop’s $199 standalone inspection price is not added to this $249 total.

A remote review is not a prerequisite. Finding other cars, negotiating or completing the purchase, repairs and additional visits are separate unless included in the agreed scope.

02 / Buy

Complete local used-car help · $1,000

Choosing, the agreed 30-day used-car search, screening, negotiation and purchase coordination, plus one full inspection at Certified Auto Repair in San Luis Obispo, included in the $1,000 total.

The search includes at least three qualifying, seller-confirmed cars unless you choose one sooner. I confirm availability, specifications and price with sellers, review available history and maintenance records, and explain which cars are worth pursuing. We agree on budget and must-haves first. If I cannot deliver the agreed search, we agree on an extension or refund under our written agreement.

We can agree on seeing and test-driving the car and coordinating its inspection, subject to seller permission, access, travel and scheduling. The car must come to the SLO shop; transport is not included.

$500 to start and $500 when you purchase, less applicable prior payments credited once. Rejecting a car after inspection does not by itself trigger the final payment. Additional inspections require a separately approved cost.

Certified Auto Repair’s standalone inspection price is $199. That is the shop’s price, not an additional 805CarGuy fee on this complete package. I co-own the shop. If you prefer another shop, we agree on its cost first.

Help me sell.

Get the listing and initial buyer screening handled, or get help managing the sale. The right scope depends on the car and how much you want to handle yourself.

Detailing, repairs, smog, paid advertising and transport are separately approved costs. We agree on where photos and showings happen, which listings and buyer messages I handle, and the closing responsibilities before starting. A sale is not guaranteed.

Agree on the work before it starts.

Payments already made count once toward an applicable larger service for the same purchase or sale. For example, after paying $500 for a search, moving to the $1,000 complete local package leaves $500. We confirm the total and remaining balance before an upgrade.

Before paid work starts, we confirm the transaction, included work, timing, follow-up or replacement candidates, cancellation and refund arrangements, outside costs, and when any remaining payment becomes due. See the service information.
